A hidden gem in the midst of nature! The rooms were comfortable and the location was stunning. The organized trip to the rainforest was informative and the swimming pond at the waterfall was a refreshing bonus after a long walk. The dinner and breakfast were delicious, making it a truly enjoyable stay.
Finding the hotel can be a challenge as navigation systems might lead you onto impassable side-roads. Also, be aware that reaching the main building and rooms involves climbing steep high steps carved from the hillside, which may be difficult for those with limited mobility.

The room at Sinharaja Kurulu Ella Eco Resort was amazing! It had its own private entrance, which made me feel like I had my own little hideaway. Plus, there was an electric kettle and a comfy seating area, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a cup of tea. But the best part was the private bathroom with a bidet. It felt so luxurious and added a touch of convenience to my stay. As a budget traveller, it's not often that I come across such upscale amenities, so this was a delightful surprise!
Honestly, the only thing I liked less about the room was that it only had a private entrance. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

The hosts were lovely and the room was clean with a beautiful view. The food was delicious and the guided walk in the rainforest was informative. They even gave me traditional medicine, how thoughtful!
Oh, and let's not forget the expensive breakfast and dinner, worth every penny!

The meals were delicious and the rooms were clean and tranquil. The private waterfall just steps away was a highlight. We even saw monkeys playing in the trees! The owner was extremely helpful in guiding us to the hotel. I highly recommend this place for an unforgettable stay near the rainforest.

We got great value for our money at the resort. The room was clean and cozy with a stunning view from the large window. The location was magical, surrounded by a diverse range of wildlife and a private waterfall just a minute's walk away. The staff, especially the manager and his wife, were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and professional.
The breakfast selection could be improved with more variety or additional options.
